Ole Henriksen – Truth Juice Daily Cleanser

Ole Henriksen – Truth Juice Daily Cleanser

A juice cleanse I actually like the sound of.

Ole Henriksen is a Danish skin cosmetician who created a wide range of skin-care products to target different skin concerns. I bought the cleanser from the Truth collection which aims to brighten skin with the addition of Vitamin C.

Inspired by juice cleanses which detoxify the body, Henriksen created a juice cleanse to detoxify your skin. This is a juice cleanse that you won’t give up after day 1.

The Truth Juice Daily Cleanser will remove all of your make-up and any excess dirt and oils, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. It is a foaming cleanser and when the creamy formula mixes with water it creates a luxurious lather. It is a very fragrant cleanser, and the colour of the bottle doesn’t try to hide what that scent will be. Be prepared for a wave of zingy orange, it’s basically like having one of your five-a-day.

The Ole Henriksen brand started as a spa and that definitely comes across with this product. The packaging is really vibrant and definitely stands out amongst my other skin-care products. The scent packs a powerful punch which will make you want to double cleanse, but one cleanse is definitely enough. I love how this cleanser invigorates my skin and creates a glow that lasts all day. I’m definitely excited to try more products from the Ole Henriksen brand.

After all this juice cleanse talk, I might even have a glass of orange juice.

Mark Hill Hair – The products I’m loving…

Mark Hill Hair – The products I’m loving…

Every day should be a good hair day.

Prep & Prime Heat Protection Spray

A heat protection spray is a must-have for anyone who applies heat to their hair. Using a hairdryer? Straighteners? Curling iron? Don’t forget heat protection spray.

With no visible results, it can be hard to know if a heat protection spray is actually working. But trust me, it is a must must must. Just like we use sunscreen to protect our skin from the sun, we need to use a heat protection spray to protect our hair from any heat that we apply. The silicones in the spray form a protective layer over the cuticle of the hair strand, which protects the hair from the heat of your stylers. Without it, your hair can become frazzled, and in extreme cases, seriously damaged.

The Mark Hill heat protection spray can protect your locks from heat up to 240 degrees. This means you can feel safe knowing that your hair is protected from any hair styling tool that you use. The spray also leaves your hair looking smooth and shiny, which is an added bonus. Also, this is a great product if you normally curl your hair. It contains a heat activated agent which will hold your curl for longer. Apply the product before adding heat to your hair, and protect your hair from damage.

Don’t risk it. Your hair looks too good to become frazzled.

Glass Finish Shine Spray

This product is a bit extra and you definitely don’t need to purchase it to have healthy-looking hair. But, if you want to treat yourself to a bonus step in your hair-routine, Mark Hill’s Shine Spray could be for you.

After many years of using hair straighteners every day, I am currently trying to avoid using styling tools as much as possible. However, if I’m going all out and looking to add some sparkle to my look, I use the Mark Hill Shine Spray. It’s the perfect product to finish styled hair.

The product is basically shine in a bottle. As the last step in your hair routine, you spray the product all over your hair and it leaves you with a gorgeous finish. It isn’t glittery it is just very very shiny. It makes my hair look like I’ve just left the hairdressers, super glossy and soft. It also smooths down any unwanted frizz.

It’s definitely a product for those who are looking to add some extra glam to their hair. Perfect for a night out and special occasions.

P.S. You only need a small amount and make sure to shake the bottle first.

Invisible Taming Polish

Tired of those annoying flyaways which won’t smooth down? Mark Hill’s invisible taming polish is the ideal product for people with those annoying bits of hair which can’t be tamed.

A small amount really does go a long way with this product. I have been using this product for almost two months and I’ve barely touched the surface of the tub.

To apply this product, rub a small amount between the palms of your hands and the warmth will activate the polish. Then press gently on the hairs that you want to tame, and they won’t bother you for the rest of the day.

It’s also great to style a high ponytail as you can really get your hair to slick back and look the way you want it to.

If you want to smooth down your hair, without the risk of it looking greasy, check out Mark Hill’s Invisible Taming Polish.

Banana & Shea 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment – Garnier

Banana & Shea 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment – Garnier

A nourishing hair mask that won’t break the bank.

I have recently taken my hair extensions out and my hair was in desperate need of some TLC. A mask is always my go-to when my hair is looking dry and lifeless. So, I decided to try Garnier’s range of hair mask treatments and opted for the banana & shea flavour as it boasted smoothing and shining effects.

The mask is marketed as a 3-in-1 treatment:

  1. A conditioner, use on wet hair to nourish and detangle.
  2. A mask, lather on wet hair and wait 3-5 minutes for lasting shine.
  3. A leave-in, leave a small amount on wet or dry hair and see instant results.

Any other benefits???

  • The product is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain any silicones.
  • Garnier claims up to 4x less breakage after just one use.
  • No grease or weigh down.

I have been using this mask for around two months, about twice a week, and I am really happy with the results. The tub is also massive, so it’s definitely good value for money. The intensive treatment has strengthened my hair and added some much-needed shine. Plus, it smells like a banana milkshake. Yummm.

Don’t think, just buy.
